This hand-coloured copper engraving depicts Bern from the north across the loop of the river Aare — the cathedral, the Zytglogge clock tower, the Nydegg church and the medieval city walls all clearly identifiable. The bilingual German/French legend and the signatures of the draughtsman (Frich) and engraver (Leizel) make this a documented record of 18th-century Bern. Sammlungsobjekt RG-2026-155 (Re-Processing): eine altkolorierte Kupferstich-Vedute der Stadt Bord von Norden, signiert 'Frich del.' und 'Leizel scu.', mit zweisprachiger Gebäudelegende. Ein klassisches Stück Berner Stadtgeschichte aus einer Zuger Privatsammlung, sorgfältig neu erfasst und im dezenten Holzrahmen mit Passepartout präsentiert.
